Completion of Granary Project in Huíla Province, Angola, Undertaken by Moçâmedes Railway Project Company

On July 13, 2012, the inauguration and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the granary project in Huíla Province, undertaken by Moçâmedes Railway Project Company, was successfully held. Isaac dos Anjos, Governor of Huíla Province, and officials from the Angola Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development attended the ceremony and participated in the ribbon-cutting.

At the granary project site, colorful flags bearing the name of China Hyway fluttered in the wind. Under the bright and warm sun of Angola, the main structure of the granary facility sparkled beautifully. At the site, local residents joyfully celebrated with ethnic dances to the lively beat of drums.

At 12:30 a.m. (local time), Anjos and his delegation arrived at the granary site, where they were warmly welcomed by Wei Ruihai, General Manager of Moçâmedes Railway Project Company; Li Mi, Office Director; Huang Hui, Director of the Engineering and Project Management Department; and others. After shaking hands with and greeting our representatives as well as local officials and people, Anjos cut the ribbon for the granary project amidst cheers and applause and then opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Anjos stated that the granary project would play a crucial role in the local area, which is known for its agricultural development, and would benefit the people of Angola. Subsequently, Anjos, along with the staff, opened the grain bags and poured the corn into the granary's intake opening. Once the granary equipment began operating, the local granary technical management staff member provided Anjos with a detailed introduction to the entire process, from grain intake, screening, and storage, to grain output and equipment control. Anjos expressed great satisfaction with the granary project constructed by our company and showed a strong interest in it.

The granary project in Huíla Province began on-site work in September 2011 and concluded installations in February 2012. The main structure includes a primary warehouse with a capacity of 1,500 tons and a secondary warehouse with a capacity of 800 tons, with building heights of 20.07 meters and 18.27 meters, respectively. This project is the first granary construction undertaken by the group company in Africa. The inauguration and ribbon-cutting ceremony marked a further expansion of the company's business scope. The group company will continue to vigorously expand both overseas and domestic markets, seeking cooperation to progress, develop, and create brilliance together with project owners.
