JOUF University Hospital Housing Construction Project, Undertaken by China Hyway Group Limited Saudi Arabia Branch, Enters Cushion Construction

On December 16, 2012, the site of Area C of the JOUF University Hospital Housing Construction Project, undertaken by China Hyway Group Limited Saudi Arabia Branch, was bustling with activity. Two pump trucks with a reach of 50 meters stood opposite each other in the construction area, pouring concrete into the foundation pit like bodybuilders showing their muscles. Over 10 concrete trucks shuttled back and forth at the site to ensure a continuous supply of concrete. Bedding concrete work in this area started at 08:00 and ended at 17:00, marking a new construction milestone for the project.

The JOUF University Town Hospital Project, invested by the Ministry of Higher Education of Saudi Arabia, is located in Jouf, with a construction area of approximately 120,000 square meters. The project consists of civil works and installation works. All engineering structures are designed as frame structures, featuring a cornice height of about 23.8 meters and a foundation burial depth of 4.5 meters. The building spans 600 meters long from east to west and 290 meters long from north to south. China Hyway Group Limited obtained the construction right in February 2012, with a construction period of 1,260 days. In just five months since the commencement, the company has completed the foundation pit excavation in Area C and 95% of the excavation in Areas A and B, achieving a total output value of USD 1.2 million.
