On August 11, 2026, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council hosted the “Think Business, Think Hong Kong 2026” at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Datin Wang Mei Kuen, Chief Operating Officer of Greenverse Holding Sdn Bhd—a subsidiary of the Group—attended the conference on behalf of the company and was invited to serve as a guest speaker at the forum on the internationalization of RMB. She engaged in discussions with representatives from financial regulatory agencies, banks, and capital markets in Hong Kong, China, and Malaysia, and shared the Company’s innovative practices in cross-border development.

Prominent Guests from the Political and Business Communities Gathered

Prof. Frederick S Ma, Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council; Mr. Algernon Yau, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, HKSAR Government; and YB Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport, Malaysia, attended the event. Approximately 1,600 political and business leaders and professionals from Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, and neighboring markets gathered to discuss core topics such as capital market connectivity and high-quality cross-border corporate development, and to explore opportunities for bilateral cooperation in areas including trade, investment, finance, technology, and sustainable development.

Greenverse Holding Sdn Bhd Participates in a Panel Discussion on the Internationalization of RMB

During the forum on the internationalization of RMB at this conference, Datin Wang Mei Kuen, the Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the innovative financing model of the successful Malaysian Greenverse Environment Technology Project, and the practical results drew widespread attention from the guests. The project, underwritten by China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation Tianjin Branch and supported by cross-border RMB financing from the Bank of China Tianjin Branch and a syndicate of Bank of China branches in Malaysia, has now been officially put into operation. It will provide a package solution for the resource recovery of hazardous waste generated by Malaysia’s petrochemical industry, fully demonstrating the Company’s successful experience in seizing the development opportunities of the internationalization of RMB and actively integrating into the development of the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Moving forward, the Company will take this event as an opportunity and fully leverage the resource advantages of both regions linked through this platform to further expand cross-border cooperation channels and deepen its international footprint across multiple sectors. The company will continue to share green industry technologies and proven operational expertise, and—amid the trend of the internationalization of RMB—create more replicable models of Sino-foreign industrial cooperation, thereby helping enterprises reach a new level in their international development.
